Firebaugh FFA Goals
​​2021-2022 

Goal 1

1.0: Complete a post twice a week on the three Firebaugh FFA social media platforms to encourage involvement and knowledge about the happenings of the Firebaugh FFA. 
Objectives
  • 1.1: In order to increase student involvement we will publish and post on all social media events during the 2020-2021 school year. 
  • 1.2: Topics to cover could include...​​
                      - SAE Highlights 
                      - Member of the Week 
                      - Aggie of the Month 
                      - Member Accomplishments 
                      - History of Firebaugh FFA 
                      - Activities/ Meetings/ Community Service/ Etc. 
                      - Fundraiser
                      - Online Activities 
  • 1.3: A calendar will be completed and distributed that assigns each officer on a weekly basis to complete the posts weekly. 
  • 1.4: Officer Check In
  • 1.5: Have Pictures Ready 

Goal 2

2.0: Increase  Freshman involvement through changing the freshman specific welcome activity.
Objectives
  • 2.1: Change Ice Cream Social to Freshman Fiesta
  • 2.2: Promote and Introduce Available Classes & Competitions with an FFA Slideshow 
  • 2.3: Increase Greenhand Officer Involvement
                        - Form Personal Connection 
                        - Workshop
                        - Help at Meetings
                        - Meet Up With Advisor 
                        - Plan Chapter Meeting at the End of the Year
                        - Lead a Community Service Activity

Goal 3

3.0: Update the website weekly at the officer meetings.

Goal 4

4.0: During the 2020-2021 school year we will have five community service events.
Objectives 
  • 4.1: Possible activities could include 
                        - Pennies for Patients 
                        - Cookie Decorating 
                        - Turkey Project 
                        - Soctober 
                        - Feeding at the hospital (Greenhand Officers Help)
                        - Fresno Rescue Mission 
  • 4.2: Create a flyer for every activity 
  • 4.3: Make every activity an activity point 
  • 4.4: Try to have Classroom Announcements
  • 4.5: Staggered Release and Due Dates 
  • 4.6: Community Service Article  

Goal 5

5.0: Have at least 75 students attend every activity we conduct during the 2020-2021 school year.
Objectives 
  • 5.1: Hang up flyers for each activity 
  • 5.2: Send emails to all students 
  • 5.3: Post each activity on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter 
  • 5.4: Have the Agriculture Leadership students pass out personal invitations to their assigned students and their assigned students and take a photo with them.
  • 5.5: Put a Calendar in the Newsletter
  • 5.6: Create an Afterschool Club
  • 5.7: Register Members / Sign In
