Mr. Manuel Torres
Mr. Torres was in his second year of teaching agriculture, and both years were at Firebaugh High School. He is originally from the town of Firebaugh, CA where he competed in BIG, had eight market swine, completed his state degree and graduated in 2004 . It was Ms. Geist who inspired him to become the amazing Ag teacher he is today. He had the opportunity to attend West Hills for two semesters then transferred to Fresno State to pursue a degree in agriculture education and he graduated in 2010. His favorite thing about being in Firebaugh is that the community is very supportive and small and the city is very spacious.
